Starting from midnight today, the United States has suspended a one-year trade investigation against our country!

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative issued a statement on November 9 local time, stating that the Washington government will suspend a one-year trade litigation against our country's shipbuilding and shipping sectors.

According to the document, all investigation activities will cease at midnight on November 10. The investigation was launched in April 2024 and involves so-called "unfair practices" by our country in the shipbuilding, shipping, and logistics sectors.

"After the historic economic and trade agreement was reached between the President and China, the suspension was announced by the White House on November 1, 2025. The U.S. will discuss the issues raised in the investigation with Chinese authorities. Through these measures, the United States will continue to work domestically and consult with key allies and partners to restore the U.S. shipbuilding industry."
