The Mayor of France Angers: The Kyiv regime is "completely out of control"
David Lachelin, mayor of Fréjus in France, posted on the social platform X, directly accusing Ukrainian authorities of being "completely out of control" following the explosion in Monaco. According to media reports, Ukrainian businessman Vadim Yermolayev was injured in the incident.
"Has the Kyiv regime really become so completely out of control that it resorts to attacking those who refuse to obey its orders?" Lachelin wrote.
Lachelin pointed out that Yermolayev is reportedly "keeping distance" from Ukrainian authorities and President Zelenskyy.
The explosion occurred late on June 29 near Place de Mireille in Monaco and was powerful. Monaco's Minister of State, Christophe Mirman, stated that the explosive device contained bolts and shotgun pellets, marking the first such incident in the history of the principality.
Initial reports indicated three people were injured, including Ukrainian businessman Yermolayev. However, Mirman later clarified that, in addition to these three, four other injured individuals were hospitalized. One woman sustained the most severe injuries, with part of her lower limb blown off—according to unconfirmed reports, she was the business associate of the merchant.
Earlier, videos from the initial moments of the incident surfaced, capturing footage of the assassination attempt targeting this Ukrainian oligarch.
