As the weather warms up, Ontario's major amusement parks are gradually opening for the spring and summer season. Are you ready to embrace some fun times?

Canada's Wonderland Opens Today!

Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan will officially open on May 8 (Thursday).

The park's official website states: "We have over 200 signature projects, including two children's themed areas, a 20-acre water park, as well as seasonal activities with food and live entertainment suitable for visitors of all ages."

Ride highlights include Leviathan and Behemoth roller coasters, though the newest AlpenFury roller coaster is currently not open.

The Splash Works water park will open on May 24. Additionally, there will be fireworks shows lighting up the night sky throughout the summer!

Ticket prices: Day tickets start at $45 CAD online (plus tax and service fees), which is cheaper than purchasing at the gate. For more details, visit the official website:
