The Constitutional Court of Korea announced on April 4 the impeachment case of Yoon Suk-yeol: the verdict concerns the president's tenure.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the Constitutional Court of South Korea will pronounce the verdict on President Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment case on April 4th. The Constitutional Court allows the public to attend, but due to too many applicants logging in simultaneously, the application page once crashed.

If the Constitutional Court rules that Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment case is valid, he will be immediately dismissed from office; if it is rejected or not accepted, Yoon Suk-yeol will immediately resume his position as president. The decision to dismiss requires the consent of more than 6 out of the current 8 constitutional judges.
