Spokesperson Tommy Piggott of the State Department said that the United States will soon begin issuing passports featuring the portrait of President Donald Trump. "For those renewing passports in person at the Washington Passport Agency, this passport will become the default option when available," Piggott stated. "Online options or other locations will retain the existing passport design."
The inclusion of Trump's portrait on U.S. passports marks the latest and most significant example of his image being used to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence. Unlike commemorative coins or national park passes, a U.S. passport is an internationally recognized form of identification typically valid for 10 years.
According to the passport model, Trump's face and golden signature will appear on the inner cover.
Piggott said: "As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary in July, the Department is ready to release a limited number of specially designed U.S. passports to mark this historic moment. These passports will feature custom artwork and enhanced imagery while retaining the same security features that make U.S. passports among the safest documents in the world."
The State Department certainly knows how to flatter the flamboyant 'Know-It-All'—it excels at highlighting his prominent image in major events. This effort has clearly been well executed! The 'Know-It-All' is likely very satisfied!
