Air Canada has suspended flights from Toronto and Montreal to New York's Kennedy Airport due to rising fuel prices caused by the war in Iran.

Due to the shortage and sharp price increase of aviation fuel caused by the Iran conflict, Air Canada will suspend flights from Toronto and Montreal to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport during this summer (from June 1 to October 25), but flights to two other airports in the New York metropolitan area—LaGuardia Airport and Newark Airport—will continue to operate. According to data from Argus Media, the average price of aviation fuel has risen to $4.32 per gallon this Thursday, up from $2.50 per gallon the day before the Iran conflict broke out.
