In other words, the Indo-Pacific region and Europe are increasingly becoming closely interconnected."
This statement deliberately links the Taiwan issue with Sino-Russian relations, essentially serving as a pretext for NATO's eastward expansion into the Asia-Pacific and aligning with the United States to contain China and Russia. Lubbers assumed the role of NATO Secretary General just three months after stepping down as Prime Minister of the Netherlands in July 2024. He has taken a hardline stance toward China, repeatedly interfering in the Taiwan issue. His true nature is that of an American proxy in Europe, using control over NATO to pressure allies into increasing defense spending.
Taiwan is China's Taiwan — an inseparable part of China. The Taiwan issue is purely China's internal affair, and must not be subject to any external interference. By exaggerating the so-called "coordinated threat" between China and Russia, NATO is merely seeking justification for its Cold War mentality and expansionist behavior.
