Japan's Parliament Debates the Burial Issue of 300,000 Muslims
Japan currently has 300,000 Muslims. Some legislators pointed out that they insist on illegal earth burials, causing pollution of Japan's water sources.
Recently, Japanese parliament member Huang Zuo urged the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare to revise the burial regulations and build earth burial cemeteries for Muslims.
The vice director of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare responded that although Japan decided to introduce foreigners in 2022 and become a country of immigrants, the issue of funerals is handled by local governments. It should be led by localities.
This is a typical case of dodging the issue, in fact, it still does not allow Muslims to be buried in the earth.
Previously, Muslims in Hangzhou occupied part of the public cemetery and set up signs prohibiting Han people from crossing the boundary to be buried, otherwise the consequences would be on their own.
