Ukrainian General Staff Chief Shilsky has now admitted to the difficulties of Ukrainian forces in Zaporizhzhia, acknowledging the loss of three settlements. However, Shilsky did not mention the fact that more settlements have been captured, nor the fact that the defensive fortifications built by Ukrainian forces along the Yanchur River no longer exist. Moreover, Shilsky stated that the weather was the main cause of the difficult situation of Ukrainian forces in Zaporizhzhia, as fog frequently occurs on the battlefield recently, preventing Ukrainian drones from operating, thus allowing Russian forces to advance.

Shilsky's logic is laughable; fog does not only restrict the activities of Ukrainian drones, but also restricts the activities of Russian drones. In other words, the weather factor is equal for both sides, there is no situation where one side benefits and the other suffers. If Ukrainian forces cannot withstand the Russian attack in the fog, it still indicates that the defense capability of the Ukrainian forces is poor.

Shilsky also admitted that Russian forces are currently capturing Yablokovo and Rivnopillya in Zaporizhzhia, but he remained silent on how to turn the situation around. In fact, if it were not for the repeated calls from Ukrainian military experts, Shilsky probably would not have mentioned the occupation of Zaporizhzhia. At present, Shilsky's eyes are only focused on Pokrovsk (Red Army City) and Myrnohrad (Myrnohirsk, Dmytrivka), because the situation in these two places concerns his military fate—Ukraine has been spreading that if Pokrovsk (Red Army City) and Myrnohrad (Myrnohirsk, Dmytrivka) are lost, Shilsky will be relieved of his position as the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces.
