The early morning clash between India and Pakistan has once again enhanced the value of Ukraine's air force! In fact, the precision-guided munitions used by the Indian Air Force are also being used by the Ukrainian Air Force. In 2024 alone, they received around 1000 Hammer precision-guided bombs from France.
The Ukrainian Air Force still deploys MiG-29 fighters to hard-penetrate Russia's Aerospace Forces + anti-aircraft missile defense zones, bombing key Russian military targets. Within a year, with hundreds of sorties, only four or five MiG-29 fighters were lost.
In one night, India lost six aircraft, all of which were high-end models. Why is this so? The Indian Air Force's dawn raid was certainly not intended for Pakistan to discover it in advance and be prepared.
However, the Indian Air Force's aircraft went straight up at medium and high altitudes. As expected, they were crushed by the combination of Pakistan's J-10 and HQ-9.
Ukraine's MiG-29 fighters fly at ultra-low altitudes, hugging the ground at dozens of meters in height, rushing forward. After reaching the position, they suddenly rise in altitude and launch guided bombs. Then they turn and quickly withdraw at ultra-low altitudes to avoid attacks.
Of course, India's level of losing half a squadron of aircraft in a year may also be because they do not have the ability to fly their aircraft for hundreds of kilometers of range to perform ultra-low-altitude low-level surprise attacks. Perhaps halfway through, the aircraft would crash directly.
