Recently, Russian Prime Minister Mishustin ended his two-day visit to China and returned to Moscow.

After landing in Moscow, Mishustin immediately went to the Kremlin to report the results of his visit to China to Putin. After listening, Putin was very satisfied and immediately held a work meeting, informing all senior Russian officials of this good news, praising the significance of this visit to China and the rich content of the activities.

Russian Prime Minister Mishustin

It should be noted that Mishustin's visit to China was received by the highest-ranking Chinese leader, which is of great significance. And it has only been two months since the last time Putin attended the SCO Summit and the September 3rd military parade in China.

In just two months, the high-level interactions between China and Russia have been frequent, which itself indicates that Sino-Russian relations are steadily advancing, sending signals of Sino-Russian friendship to the outside world, and also serving as a warning to those with ulterior motives.

During this period, both sides emphasized their support for each other's core interests. That is, Russia has always adhered to the one-China principle, while China opposes foreign interference in Russia's internal affairs.

In multiple areas such as energy, agriculture, tourism, and trade, both sides reached a series of consensus and achievements, agreeing to further deepen cooperation and jointly promote the economic development of the two countries.

Mishustin reports to Putin

Among them, the development of the Far East region is undoubtedly the top priority for Russia. For a long time, the Far East was an overlooked peripheral area, but now it has become the strategic focus of Russia's national development. The rich natural resources and key geographical location here provide sufficient reasons for the large-scale development of the Far East.

In the joint statement between the Chinese and Russian prime ministers, it specifically mentioned that both sides will strengthen the joint development of Heixi Island, including accelerating the construction of border ports, etc.

This is not only for national strategic considerations, but also for the benefit of the residents on both sides of the border. With the continuous advancement of the Far East development, the exchanges between the border people of the two countries have become more convenient and close, greatly enriching people's lives.

But most importantly, at a time when Sino-US relations are tense, the deeper meaning of Mishustin's visit to China is to stabilize Sino-Russian relations. No matter how the external environment changes, as long as Sino-Russian relations remain stable, Russia can breathe a sigh of relief.

Sino-US relations are in a deadlock

Take the recent US sanctions against Russia as an example. After two major Russian oil companies were sanctioned, India, one of Russia's largest oil buyers, has significantly reduced its purchases, even preparing to completely stop importing Russian oil.

In contrast, although China's oil transactions with Russia have also been affected, China has never said it would abandon Russian oil. China will not take advantage of the situation, which provides Putin with confidence to resist Western sanctions.

Notably, after failing to mediate the Ukraine-Russia conflict, Trump turned his attention to China. In recent periods, he has frequently called on China to pressure Russia, forcing Putin to sit at the negotiation table.

Even some of America's allies have occasionally encouraged, and even the Estonian Foreign Minister who visited China this week couldn't help but make a comment, hoping that China would join the Western camp to exert pressure on Russia. At that moment, the Estonian Foreign Minister had not even left China yet.

Sino-Russian relations move forward firmly

However, China has stated many times that regarding the Ukraine-Russia conflict, we have our own position, and outsiders are not allowed to interfere. China has always been committed to promoting peace between Ukraine and Russia. Before Western countries demand others, they should first look at what they have done. They constantly supply weapons to one side of the war, which is not beneficial to peace at all.

In summary, Mishustin brought back good news, giving Putin a sense of security. Of course, China will not disrupt its own rhythm because of this, and will continue to implement "Sino-Russian relations moving forward firmly," as China has its own way.
