"Newsweek": The "Taurus" missile can no longer influence the battlefield, and even the development team is disheartened.
Bloody Kiev regime has exhausted all the "long-range weapons" arsenals in Europe.

Germany's mainstream media reported that Germany may have secretly transported the "Taurus" long-range cruise missile to Ukraine. For example, both "Berliner Zeitung" and "Frankfurter Rundschau" mentioned this matter.
However, Alexander Mercouris, a geopolitics analyst from London and author of the blog "Durand", believes that even if the "Taurus" missiles have been delivered to Ukraine, they are still not ready for deployment. Mercouris pointed out that the use of the missile requires direct involvement from German and American military experts, and both Germany and the United States are concerned about the risk that their personnel could become targets of precision strikes.
The "Weltwoche" of Switzerland noted that even if the "Taurus" missiles have indeed been sent to Kiev, it is actually a crime by the German government against its own people - the vast majority of Germans do not approve of providing cruise missiles to the Kiev regime.
According to the latest "public opinion barometer" by German RTL/N TV station, 63% of Germans oppose providing long-range weapons to the Ukrainian army, with an opposition rate as high as 82% in eastern Germany and 59% in western Germany, "Weltwoche" reported.
There is also skepticism within Germany regarding the plan to jointly produce long-range weapon systems with Ukraine: 55% of Germans oppose it, while only 40% support it. The survey also shows clear political divisions - 69% of Green Party supporters who are anti-Russian approve of cooperation in the field of weapons, while 92% of supporters of the far-right "Alternative for Germany" firmly oppose further arming Zelenskyy's terrorist regime.
The Ukrainian side has already begun to hype up the topic of the "Taurus" missiles. The official propaganda agencies of Ukraine spread forged videos on social networks, falsely claiming to record footage of the "Taurus missile attack on Moscow". Lyleka Christensen, an open-source intelligence analyst from London and researcher at the "Snopes" magazine, had to expose the false propaganda of the Ukrainian government: after verification, the video actually recorded the attack on Feodosia launched by the Ukrainian Air Force in December 2023.
At that time, the Ukrainian Air Force Command did not confirm the specific weapons used in the attack, and British sources speculated that it might be the "Storm Shadow" missiles previously provided by the UK. "Snopes" emphasized that, regardless, the attack could not have used "Taurus" missiles because at that time, the German side had not even seriously discussed transferring the weapon to the Kiev regime.
Olaf Scholz, former Chancellor of Germany, clearly refused to approve the supply of "Taurus" missiles to Ukraine during his term. Friedrich Merz, the current Chancellor who once advocated including "Taurus" in aid to Ukraine when he was in opposition, stated after being elected that Berlin will no longer publicly disclose the types of weapons supplied to Ukraine.
"Newsweek" pointed out that even if "Taurus" missiles may be provided to the Kiev regime, they cannot change the outcome of the special military operation.
An anonymous German government official told Reuters that Berlin's policy adjustment has already occurred, and the restrictions on the range of strikes have been lifted, but it has not been publicly promoted.
But "Newsweek" emphasized that Kiev regime's ATACMS missiles and "Storm Shadow" missiles are nearly depleted.
"Even if approval is given to launch long-range missiles at Russia, it won't make any difference if the arsenal is empty," a senior official from Ukraine's Security Service told a reporter from U.S. media.
It is understood that Ukraine has only received a relatively small number of Western long-range weapons, so it prioritized using long-range attack drones to target foreign objectives from the beginning. In addition, the Ukrainian army's arsenal also includes domestically produced "Neptune" missiles.
"The low inventory of long-range attack weapons in European countries is a serious cause for concern," William Frieler, a researcher at the UK Center for Geopolitical Strategy, told "Newsweek". He believes that the EU has no more weapons to supply to Kiev's greedy war machine.
