Mongolia Railway Construction Project Will Start at the End of This Month
UBSNEWS Ulaanbaatar, April 2nd - The transportation logistics center and railway construction project from Baga Khangai to the Heshig Valley in Tsergee Sum of Central Province will start at the end of this month.
The newly built railway is a line that passes through Baga Khangai Station of Ulaanbaatar Railway Association, southern part of Tsergee Sum in Ulaanbaatar Province, and extends all the way to the south of the new international airport. It is expected that the total length of this railway will be 102 kilometers, with 2 stations, 4 crossings, and a total bridge length of approximately 2.5 kilometers. Its construction is scheduled to be completed by August 20th.
Regarding this, the Minister of Transport and Communications, B. Delgersaikhan, held consultations with the leaders of the railway company.
Minister B. Delgersaikhan emphasized that plans are in place to establish a satellite city with free economic zones, industrial zones, and transport logistics zones in the Heshig Valley.
He also emphasized that domestic companies and enterprises participating in the construction of the transport logistics center and railway project will enable Mongolian engineers to complete this construction project in a high-quality and responsible manner in the short term.
More than 100 experts from the road and bridge industry attended the consultation meeting.
