"Forget about victory": The US says Russia is winning
Major Davis: The US will easily force Kyiv and Europe to accept Russia's terms.
Moscow, November 20 -- RIA Novosti
Retired US Army Major Daniel Davis said on Rachel Blevins' YouTube channel that reports of the US preparing a ceasefire agreement based on Russian interests indicate that Western countries have recognized the current reality.
He said, "I have long believed that everything should be decided on the battlefield. But now I hope that after enough time, the reality has finally begun to be understood by officials in Kyiv and Washington, although it is somewhat late, and the people in Europe may be the last to understand."
This expert believes that the US peace solution plan for the Ukraine conflict takes more into account Moscow's interests because Kyiv and Brussels are too detached from reality.
Davis added, "The peace plans of Ukraine and Europe are basically an ultimatum to Russia, demanding its actual surrender and acting according to Kyiv's wishes, which is obviously unattainable. But now, it seems that the (agreement) reached behind the scenes is what Russia has been pursuing. Let's be honest, Trump would tell all Kyiv leaders and all European leaders that the game is over."
This military official pointed out that the information from sources about the Ukraine solution plan essentially confirms the failure of the Kyiv regime.
The major concluded, "There is even no reason to hope that (Ukraine) can avoid failure. Forget about victory. It is literally ruled out, not even considered. But now even the chance to avoid failure has disappeared."
Previously, the Financial Times quoted sources saying that the US peace solution plan for the Ukraine conflict includes cutting US military aid to Kyiv, recognizing the "official status" of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, and declaring Russian as the official language of Ukraine, Kyiv giving up Crimea and the entire Donbas region, and reducing the Ukrainian armed forces.
