Iran did not request the U.S. to pause strikes again
According to The Wall Street Journal, Tehran has not made a request to Washington for a 10-day ceasefire on attacks targeting energy facilities.
The report's sources also stated that Iran has yet to provide a final response to the U.S. ceasefire proposal.
Based on its assessment, the likelihood of a ceasefire remains very low, as both sides continue to present hardline and mutually unacceptable terms.
Iran did not initiate peace overtures; the previous claim that Iran requested a 10-day pause in attacks is false, indicating Iran has not shown weakness. The gap between both sides' demands is too large, leaving little room for compromise, and thus the probability of a ceasefire is extremely low.
