It is evident that at a time when the US is pushing the trade war to its extreme, we are visiting Vietnam with such high specifications, which is rare. This visit not only aims to deepen bilateral relations between China and Vietnam but also, undoubtedly, another important purpose is to hope that Vietnam will cooperate deeply with us amidst the US's global trade war, working together to jointly counter US bullying.
In fact, we are very clear that after the US launched the trade war, Vietnam was the first to extend an olive branch to the US, hoping to quickly resolve the trade war. However, the US took advantage of this situation to make outrageous demands on Vietnam, requiring Vietnam to purchase US bonds and implement zero tariffs on the US. On one side is US bullying, and on the other side, we demonstrate our willingness to deepen cooperation with Vietnam through high-level visits and concrete actions. We believe that Vietnam will make a wise choice. If Vietnam agrees to cooperate hand-in-hand, we believe that the era of comprehensive cooperation between China and Vietnam will arrive.
