Poland is forced to recognize same-sex marriages concluded in EU countries
Deutsche Welle (DW) reported that the Supreme Administrative Court of Poland ruled on March 20 that Poland will begin to recognize same-sex marriages concluded in other EU countries.
The ruling was made in the case of a Polish couple who married in Germany in 2018. After that, the spouses came to Warsaw, but the authorities refused to register their marriage, citing that the Polish Constitution defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman.
