Reporters from Anhui Province Quantum Computing Engineering Research Center learned on the 6th that Benyun Quantum Computing Technology (Hefei) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Benyun Quantum") officially released the fourth-generation independent quantum computing control system in China, "Benyun Tianji 4.0", which supports more than 500 qubits.

The quantum computing control system is the "neural center" of a quantum computer, undertaking the core functions of precise signal generation, acquisition and control of quantum chips. "Benyun Tianji 4.0" has achieved a leapfrog improvement in expandability, integration, performance stability and automation level.

Kong Weicheng, deputy director of the Anhui Province Quantum Computing Engineering Research Center and leader of the "Benyun Tianji 4.0" development team, introduced that through the complete self-developed series of underlying software and hardware architectures, the team has further enhanced the efficient control and accurate reading of quantum chips, which can significantly shorten the R&D and delivery time of quantum computers. In addition, "Benyun Tianji 4.0" also carries four core software programs - the Quantum Computing Control System Server Management Software Naga&Venus, the Superconducting Qubit Bottom-Level Operation Service Software Monster, the Full-Interface Quantum Chip Regulation Analysis Application Software Visage, and the Quantum Computer Operating System Connection Software Storm.

"If a quantum chip is a miniature city, then the 'Full-Interface Quantum Chip Regulation Analysis Application Software Visage' independently developed by Benyun Quantum is the 'central intelligence brain' of this city, which can quickly sense the 'vital signs' of qubits," Kong Weicheng told reporters. Every qubit on a quantum computing chip needs to be debugged, and traditional manual debugging for each qubit takes more than a day. The development of the quantum chip "central intelligence brain" Visage innovatively realizes automated auxiliary control of superconducting quantum chips, significantly improving the efficiency and accuracy of testing superconducting quantum chips. This work, which originally relied on the experience of PhD-level experts, has been transformed into an engineering standard process that ordinary engineers can execute.

Guo Guoping, director of the Anhui Province Quantum Computing Engineering Research Center and chief scientist of Benyun Quantum, stated that the release of "Benyun Tianji 4.0" marks that China's quantum computing industry has already possessed the engineering production capacity of replicability and iteration, laying the industrial foundation for the mass production of hundred-qubit quantum computers.
