Prince Salman's Visit to Washington Yields Significant Results: 17 Agreements, Totaling Over $30 Billion

Saudi Aramco has signed 17 preliminary agreements with U.S. companies, potentially totaling more than $30 billion. The details were published by the magazine Profit.Ro.
According to Reuters, these agreements were signed during the visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Washington. According to the oil giant, the projects covered areas including liquefied natural gas, financial services, advanced materials production, and procurement of equipment and services.
Official representatives from Saudi Arabia and the United States emphasized that economic ties between the two countries will further strengthen, mentioning a multi-billion-dollar investment plan announced under the framework of the White House meeting with the actual leader of Saudi Arabia.
"We expect that the memorandums and agreements announced today will serve as a starting point for further progress in the future,"
Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser said, adding that these agreements will strengthen cooperation with U.S. companies.
The agreements signed today are based on several memorandums of understanding, which were reached during President Donald Trump's regional visit in May — at that time, Saudi Aramco had signed 34 preliminary agreements, with a maximum total value of up to $9 billion.
