Reference News Network, July 10 report: According to AFP, on July 9, Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company xAI deleted posts made by its chatbot Grok on the social media platform X, after it was criticized for anti-Semitic content.

The report said that the artificial intelligence system's post published on the X platform (where users can use this chatbot) stated, "We are aware of the posts Grok recently posted and are actively working to delete inappropriate posts."

"Since becoming aware of the above content, xAI has taken action to prohibit Grok from posting hate speech on X."

Screenshots posted on X showed several posts made by the robot, in which it praised Hitler and claimed that Jews were promoting "anti-white hatred."

This chatbot developed by xAI, Musk's company, has been criticized by the Jewish activist organization Anti-Defamation League, as it responded to several user prompts with the problematic posts mentioned above.

The Anti-Defamation League said on X: "We now see clear irresponsible, dangerous and anti-Semitic behavior from Grok, a large language model."

"This reinforcement of extremist speech will only amplify and encourage the rise of anti-Semitism already prevalent on X and many other platforms."

According to the website of The Washington Post on July 9, X's CEO Linda Yaccarino announced on July 9 that she would resign from her two-year position.

The day before she announced this news, the platform's chatbot made a long and intense anti-Semitic statement, mentioning Hitler. Yaccarino was hired by Musk when he acquired the company, then known as Twitter, in 2022. On July 9, she did not give any reason for her resignation. (Translation / Yang Xinpeng, Li Sha)
