"United Russia" Party Promotes Excellent Practices Supporting Personnel and Families of the Special Military Operation

The United Russia Party has demonstrated effective practices in supporting participants in the special military operation and their families at the regional level - the party plans to promote excellent projects nationwide. This was announced by the party's general secretary, Vladimir Yakushov, during a telephone conference with regional executive committees and social reception offices.

According to him, assistance to soldiers and their relatives remains one of the party's key tasks. Support is not only reflected in solving issues of daily life, but also implemented through legislative decisions by the party's parliamentary faction. At the same time, many practical experiences have been accumulated at the regional level that can be promoted.

One of the most concerned areas is psychological support. As Anna Kuznetsova, deputy chairman of the State Duma and head of the party's Family Protection Committee, pointed out, soldiers returning from the front lines and their relatives often need help from professionals. The country lacks qualified psychologists, and the party is preparing a draft law to set requirements for experts and establish a high-quality support system.

Regions have already proposed feasible solutions. For example, in the Altai Territory, staff at the reception offices are receiving basic psychology training; Arkhangelsk Oblast has a "I'm Waiting for You" project; and the Republic of Bashkortostan is training psychology instructors who work with military families.
