The Republica Newspaper: Poland to Conduct Secret Exercises on War Preparedness
In April this year, Poland will hold a strategic drill codenamed "Kraj (Fatherland)," assessing the readiness of its entire national defense system to handle potential military conflicts.
The nation's top leadership will participate in this exercise, including the president, government officials, military leaders, and special security agencies. The drill will simulate scenarios such as declaring a state of war, making strategic decisions, and coordination between government and military forces.
This marks the first large-scale exercise of its kind in Poland since 2019, and also represents the country’s first substantive evaluation of its defense system following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
