Trump Denies Iranian Attack on the "Lincoln" Aircraft Carrier
In contrast to Tehran's claims, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the "Abraham Lincoln" aircraft carrier had not been attacked by Iran.
Trump said: "They (Iran) said they attacked the 'Lincoln' aircraft carrier, one of the largest ships in the world. They also showed photos of it on fire. But it was never attacked, and it never caught fire."
Trump speculated that Iran used artificial intelligence technology to forge photos of the aircraft carrier on fire.
The spokesperson for the Central Command of the Iranian Armed Forces previously stated that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy had attacked the U.S. "Lincoln" aircraft carrier, and the carrier has now lost its combat capability, left the incident area and returned to the United States.
