On November 26, Didi released its Q3 2025 financial report on its official website. Continuing the steady growth of the previous two quarters, the number of orders on Didi's core platform (including China travel and international operations) increased by 13.8% year-over-year to 4.685 billion orders. This is the 11th consecutive quarter since 2023 that Didi's order volume has maintained a stable double-digit year-over-year growth.
With the steady increase in order volume, the gross transaction value (GTV) of Didi's core platform continues to expand. In Q3, the GTV of Didi's core platform increased by 14.8% to 115.8 billion yuan. The company achieved a net profit of 1.5 billion yuan during the same period.
Chen Wei, founder and CEO of Didi, said: "Domestic and international operations of Didi have maintained steady growth, with daily orders exceeding 50 million in Q3. In the future, Didi will strengthen the construction of the travel service system, increase efforts to build a good driver ecosystem, enhance rights protection and public welfare assistance. For overseas markets, we will continue to focus on local needs, integrate Chinese experience, and work with more Chinese enterprises to go global. We will fully promote AI to improve the user experience for drivers and passengers, and steadily and responsibly advance the development of L4 autonomous driving."
Domestic Operations Continue to be Refined, Expanding the Travel Market
Thanks to the vitality of domestic travel consumption, in Q3, Didi's China travel orders reached 3.523 billion, an increase of 10.7% year-over-year, with an average of 38.3 million daily orders; GTV increased by 10.1% to 86 billion yuan; adjusted EBITA profit was 3 billion yuan.
Entering 2025, Didi continues to increase investment in the domestic travel ecosystem, aiming to stimulate potential travel consumption demand through refined, multi-scenario, and differentiated services, thus expanding the travel market. The launch of services such as Didi Light, Premium Express, Private Car, and Pet Travel meets the personalized needs of different segments and groups, while also providing drivers with more and better orders.
User experience and rights are also continuously optimized and upgraded. In August, Didi's membership system was upgraded, and it has integrated with members' systems of companies like Haidilao, Huazhu, Hilton, and Atour, offering users more travel and value-added services.
In September, Didi's AI travel assistant entered public beta testing, making it easier for users to call a car. Through artificial intelligence and data-driven approaches, it understands users' voice or text-based travel needs and provides customized travel solutions for different preferences or specific scenarios based on real-time information such as time, traffic, and vehicle conditions.
Adhering to the concept of "drivers serving passengers, and Didi serving drivers," Didi has continuously increased investment in the supply side in recent years. In Q3, Didi launched new measures, including upgrading the driver protection plan and Didi Public Welfare Care Assistance, to protect driver rights and benefits. In the future, Didi will continue to focus on the travel industry and invest in expanding the travel market.
International Business Maintains Steady Growth, Brazilian Food Delivery Launched in Over 30 Cities
Thanks to continuous investment in key markets such as Brazil and Mexico, Didi's international business still maintained a high growth rate of over 20% in Q3. The number of orders increased by 24.3% year-over-year to 1.162 billion orders, with an average of 12.63 million daily orders; GTV increased by 31% to 29.8 billion yuan.
As the core segment of international operations, the transportation business has achieved healthy, stable, and sustainable growth. In the first three quarters of 2025, the international transportation business achieved cumulative profitability in adjusted EBITA.
As a natural extension of the service ecosystem in Brazil, since announcing the restart of food delivery services in April this year, Didi's 99 platform has launched food delivery services in over 30 cities in Brazil, covering major urban areas such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, and Goiânia, which have significant economic influence. According to the plan, food delivery services will expand to 100 cities in Brazil by mid-2026.
Didi entered the Brazilian market in 2018, and currently has 55 million active users and 1.5 million drivers in Brazil, providing delivery and travel services across 3,300 towns and cities of various sizes. In the past three years, the order volume of two-wheeled travel services has exceeded 2 billion.
As one of the earliest Chinese internet companies to "go global," Didi has been deeply involved in international markets for many years. Currently, Didi's international operations cover 14 countries and regions in Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa, providing local users with travel, food delivery, and financial services. In October this year, Didi, together with Guangqi Aion and Jiangsu Automobile Group, launched a standardized premium car category consisting of 500 electric vehicles in Mexico, the first of its kind in Latin America, providing local users with green and high-quality travel services.
