Photo 5 shows the everyday scene at Mosalla.
It is a mosque complex featuring Persian-Islamic architectural style, serving as an important gathering place for local residents during Friday prayers.
Today, Mosalla has become a theme mosque dedicated to Khamenei and other martyrs, hosting major religious ceremonies in Tehran.
Global Shia and Sunni Muslims, along with political leaders from various countries, will gather here.
Will Israel take this opportunity to launch another attack, especially if Mojtaba might appear?
Someone may ask: Isn't it risky to provoke widespread anger?
Hasn't it already caused enough outrage?
Nevertheless, Iranian authorities have resolutely proceeded with the event, with the ceremony officially scheduled to begin on Saturday, July 4th.
The farewell rituals will be led by the slogan “We Must Rise,” symbolized by raised fists.
Prayer ceremonies for Khamenei’s body will be held in cities including Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad.
July 7th, Tuesday, has been designated as the day for the funeral procession and prayer ceremony in the holy city of Qom.
The body will be paraded through Najaf Ashraf and Karbala—holy cities in Iraq—on Wednesday, July 8th.
Finally, the funeral procession in the holy city of Mashhad will take place on Thursday, July 9th, corresponding to the 24th of Muḥarram in the Islamic calendar. It is here that Khamenei will be buried within the shrine of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha.
Mashhad, Khamenei’s hometown, is also Iran’s second-largest city and a major Shi'a holy site; the name "Mashhad" means “place of martyrdom” in Persian.
The eighth Imam revered by Twelver Shi'ites, Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha, was assassinated and buried here in 818 CE.
Khamenei returns to the place he longed for throughout his life.
