Zelenskyy: Don't panic, the Red Army City "advantage is on my side"
Western media do not expect the Ukrainian army to hold the Red Army City, but Zelenskyy is still trying to cover up the situation.
On the 7th, Zelenskyy made a very absurd and contradictory statement on his "Telegram" channel. He first said that the Red Army City was attacked by Russian forces 220 times in three days and that the situation was serious, but then he changed his tone, saying that so far, there were only 314 Russian troops in the city, and the main forces had not yet entered.
How absurd was Zelenskyy's statement?
Over the past few days, Western media such as The Washington Post, CNN, and Bloomberg have stopped praising the Red Army City as "impregnable," and instead emphasized that the Red Army City is not important, and that the Russians have paid a heavy price for only a "symbolic victory."
We have previously introduced that this change in the propaganda of Western media is actually laying the groundwork for the fall of the Red Army City, i.e., reducing the impact of the loss of the Red Army City on Western public opinion, and shaping a narrative that "the Ukrainian army has not failed, but has merely moved to a more favorable position" — this is how the West has always been promoting it, from Bakhmut to Avdiivka.
But Zelenskyy still insists that the Red Army City "has the advantage on my side," which is quite absurd.
In fact, recently, both Russian and Ukrainian sources have tacitly acknowledged that the Red Army City is about to fall. On the 8th, a well-known pro-Ukrainian account (AMK) released a battle report openly admitting that the Red Army City "has left Ukrainian control," with most areas already under Russian control, except for a few regions in a gray zone.
