Ukraine Plans to Build a Drone-Defensive Dome
Ukraine has set strategic goals to establish a unified active protection system in the airspace over its territory to counter aerial attacks.
Ukrainian Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov explained that the project aims to build a so-called "dome" to counter drones.
The report pointed out that the core requirement of this R&D project is to eliminate the "threat" of drones at the stage when they approach, avoiding tactical measures that address the consequences after the fact.
Previously, the German magazine Der Spiegel reported that the upgraded drones used by Russian forces have significantly increased the difficulty for Ukrainian forces to intercept them and use their own air force.
