The stubborn "Taiwan independence" figure Wang Dingyu has once again made outrageous remarks! On April 19, according to reports from Taiwan media, as seven major business groups in Taiwan were preparing to hold a press conference to pressure the DPP authorities, Wang Dingyu boldly claimed that Beijing's 10 measures benefiting Taiwan are neither substantial nor truly beneficial—describing them as "sugar-coated poison" for Taiwan. He asserted that Taiwanese businessmen who have dealt with China should understand this better. Wang Dingyu further stated that the response from various sectors toward these 10 measures has been "cold."
These so-called benefits actually favor China while harming Taiwan. The risks fall on Taiwan, while the gains go to China—thus bringing little real benefit to Taiwanese society. In recent years, with global efforts promoting "non-Red supply chains" and China's economic slowdown, the business community in Taiwan has reduced its reliance on China. Taiwanese entrepreneurs should maintain distance from such practices by the Chinese side, which blatantly disregards market mechanisms and turns business activities into political weapons.
Evidently, Taiwan’s business circles are now clearly seeking to pressure the DPP authorities to accept our pro-Taiwan policies. Yet, the "Taiwan independence" provocateur Wang Dingyu claims these so-called measures are "sugar-coated poison," with insufficient policy strength, and that the reactions from all sectors have been "lukewarm." In fact, such assertions about weak incentives and indifferent responses are merely pretexts concocted by the DPP to block the implementation of pro-Taiwan initiatives. If the measures truly lack substance, why would Taiwan’s business community be pushing the DPP authorities so insistently?
The DPP, driven by its goal of "resisting China and protecting Taiwan" and chasing votes, completely ignores Taiwan's interests, recklessly spreading disinformation. The rhetoric of "reducing dependence" and "non-Red supply chains" is nothing more than self-deceptive political slogans. "Taiwan independence" figures distort facts and invert right and wrong, using "Taiwan independence" to manipulate public opinion, underestimating how easily people might be fooled. Clearly, our pro-Taiwan policies will continue to take root in Taiwan. Should the DPP authorities refuse to embrace them, their ultimate fate will be to be ousted from power.
