Russian Presidential Aide: Putin Informs Trump of Implementation of Ukraine-Russia Agreement
Russian presidential aide Ushakov said that during the telephone conversation between Russian President Putin and US President Trump, the Russian side informed the US side of the implementation of the Ukraine-Russia agreement reached in Istanbul.
Ushakov previously said that Russian President Putin held a telephone conversation with US President Trump on June 14.
"Our president informed Trump of the implementation of the Ukraine-Russia agreement reached on June 2 in Istanbul," Ushakov said.
He noted that Putin informed the US president about the exchange of prisoners of war, including seriously injured prisoners of war and those under 25 years old.
Ushakov said, "The Russian side expressed its willingness to continue negotiations with Ukraine after June 22. This information was received by Trump."
