A passenger train in the Odesa region was attacked, and 340 passengers were safely evacuated.

The personnel on the train attacked by enemy forces in Odesa Oblast have been successfully evacuated.

On August 13, Oleg Kiper, the military-civilian administrator of Odesa Oblast, reported: "This morning, the enemy brazenly attacked a passenger train in Odesa Oblast. The train carried 340 passengers, including 67 children, as well as crew members. The strike hit the locomotive's front. Tragically, the train driver and his assistant were killed. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. Fortunately, none of the passengers sustained injuries."

Under the unified coordination of the Odesa Oblast military-civilian authorities, relevant departments worked together seamlessly to swiftly evacuate passengers from the attack site. Subsequently, 12 buses were deployed to transport the passengers to safe areas within Odesa City. Ambulances were stationed along the evacuation route to ensure passenger safety."
