Russian forces capture Nikiforivka

Nikiforivka is a village in the Bakhmut region (formerly part of Donetsk Oblast), with a pre-war population of approximately 640 people. It lies 3 kilometers east of the second Fedorovka, which the Russian Defense Ministry announced it had captured on March 19, and is about 20 kilometers straight-line distance from Kramatorsk.

Five kilometers northwest of Nikiforivka is the major populated area Paradise-Aleksandrovka, located at a crucial transportation hub. Once this stronghold changes hands, Ukraine's logistical supply lines along this section of the front will be severed.
