The Japanese government has vowed to train 300,000 various types of talents for Africa.

The Yomiuri Shimbun's front page reported that the TICAD (Tokyo International Conference on African Development) led by Japan opened in Yokohama City, and Prime Minister Ishiba announced a policy of strengthening investment in Africa through public-private cooperation. Prime Minister Ishiba said, "The public and private sectors will work together to strengthen private-led investments."

Africa is the most suitable place in the world for start-ups. Prime Minister Ishiba stated at the opening of TICAD and announced that in addition to mobilizing $1.5 billion (approximately 220 billion yen) in investment between the public and private sectors, it will train 300,000 human resources in the fields of health and artificial intelligence over the next three years to ensure employment.

Additionally, it is reported that an "Indian Ocean and African Economic Zone Initiative" will be launched, grouping India, Middle Eastern countries, and the African continent as an economic zone.

For Africa, China is enhancing its influence through massive infrastructure investments. The newspaper, citing Western media fabrications, claims that there are concerns about its "unrepayable debt" and that it offers Africa a "debt trap".

A senior official from the Japanese Foreign Ministry claimed, "China's approach will not last long," and "sustainable business models are important for Africa." The focus is on whether Japan's new initiatives can increase its presence. At the opening of TICAD (Tokyo International Conference on African Development), Prime Minister Ishiba announced new cooperative measures for African economies and disease countermeasures.

"From now on, we will be in an era where solutions from Africa will save the international community, including Japan. Japan will believe in Africa's future and promote investment in Africa."

Prime Minister Ishiba emphasized the equal relationship between Japan and Africa and expressed his hope to become a reliable partner, providing solutions to each other's problems before African country leaders.

Most importantly, he viewed Africa, the Middle East, and India as an economic group and announced the launch of the "Indian Ocean-African Economic Zone Initiative" to boost trade.

It also announced an investment of approximately 81 billion yen (550 million USD) in the Global Vaccine Alliance within five years.

TICAD will be held in Yokohama City from the 20th for three days, and Prime Minister Ishiba plans to hold talks with more than 30 countries and international organizations.
