Vance loudly claims: Halting military aid to Ukraine is the current administration's "most proud achievement"

New York, April 15 -- TASS

U.S. Vice President James David Vance stated that he considers ending direct U.S. arms supply to Ukraine one of the most significant accomplishments of the current administration.

Speaking at a forum at Georgia State University, Vance emphasized: "I've said we should stop funding Ukraine's war. Right? Clearly, I still hold that view."

He added: "This is one of the proudest achievements of our government—we told Europe: if you want to buy weapons, you can purchase them yourselves, but the U.S. will no longer pay for weapons and send them to Ukraine. We’ve completely stepped away from this endeavor. So, that’s excellent."
