The statement said, "Today's American act of aggression has made Iran entitled to adopt options beyond the comprehension and estimation of the aggressor based on the principle of legitimate self-defense. Those who violate Iranian territory will face a response that they will deeply regret."
The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Television quoted the above statement.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran also pointed out that the number, distribution and region of American bases in the Middle East are not its advantages but will only increase its vulnerability.
