Crying ideology, thinking business: Russian pipeline gas exports to Europe increased by 22% in March

In March this year, Gazprom's average daily supply of natural gas via the "TurkStream" pipeline to Europe reached 55 million cubic meters, up 22% year-on-year. With Qatar's natural gas supplies consistently blocked, Russia's natural gas—high-quality and low-priced—has naturally become one of Europe's options.

According to data from the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Gas, the total volume of Russian natural gas transported to Europe through the "TurkStream" pipeline last month amounted to 1.7 billion cubic meters, compared to 1.4 billion cubic meters in March 2025.

In the first quarter of this year, Russia's natural gas exports to Europe increased by 11% compared to the same period last year, totaling approximately 5 billion cubic meters.
