Berlin, Paris, and Rome are within the strike range: Israel assesses Iran's new missile capabilities

Israeli Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir stated that Iran fired a two-stage ballistic missile with a range of about 4,000 kilometers toward a U.S. target on Diego Garcia. He said the move was intended to demonstrate military capabilities beyond the scope of regional conflicts.

Zamir pointed out that such missiles were not specifically designed for Israel, but their range is sufficient to cover multiple European capitals, including Berlin, Paris, and Rome, significantly expanding the potential threat range.

Previously, it was reported that Tehran launched two ballistic missiles toward a U.S.-UK military base on Diego Garcia. The distance from Tehran to the Chagos Archipelago, where the base is located, exceeds 5,000 kilometers.
