The Reiwa Shinshakai Party leadership election was counted on December 8th. The current party leader, Yamamoto Taro (51 years old), received more than half of the valid votes and successfully re-elected. This is the second time the party has held a representative election since 2022. In addition to Yamamoto Taro, the candidates also included House of Representatives member Yawata Ai (38 years old), Higuchi Naoto (62 years old), party volunteer Aoyagi Kohei (49 years old), and high school student Shinohara Ichiki (18 years old), totaling four people.

The total number of votes in this election was 30. It included 15 parliamentary votes consisting of 9 members of the House of Representatives and 6 members of the Senate, as well as 15 "member votes" allocated to local legislators, party members, and party supporters. In the end, Yamamoto Taro won with 17.04 votes and successfully re-elected.
