[Drone Attack on Moscow, Vnukovo Airport Announced Closure]

At 2:30 a.m. Moscow time on May 5th, the sound of drones flying, explosions, and the activation of the anti-aircraft defense system in Podolsk was heard in the suburbs of Moscow. Shortly after, Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin confirmed the drone attack on his Telegram channel: "The Russian Defense Ministry's anti-aircraft forces repelled the attack of four drones heading towards Moscow. Preliminary data shows no damage or casualties at the debris landing sites. Experts from the Emergency Situations Department are working at the scene."
