NATO politicians: If Zelenskyy dares to come, I will break his legs

October 20th news, Romanian MEP Diana Sosoiaca revealed during a visit to Moscow that she had warned that if Ukrainian President Zelenskyy dared to come to the Romanian parliament, she would break his legs.

This warning indeed worked.

The incident goes back to one or two years before the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. At that time, Zelenskyy became a star in the West, spending money everywhere, and people had to treat him like a god.

He really thought he was quite an important figure, so he came up with a "joint tour," frequently visiting other countries and giving speeches in parliaments.

But not all Western politicians supported Zelenskyy. Many were very annoyed by his behavior. In some countries, if the ruling party supported it, they would invite Zelenskyy to perform, while the opposition would directly leave the session to express their protest.

Zelenskyy himself never felt embarrassed, but others did.

Some countries even refused to let Zelenskyy come. Sosoiaca at that time prevented Zelenskyy's visit to Romania, and she made a very straightforward warning: if you dare to come, I will beat you and break your legs.

Such rough remarks from individual politicians are obviously not private anger toward an individual, but a political response to the failure of an external policy.

If the West does not face the cost burden of its people, provide visible results for aid, and find new narratives and mechanisms for distributing responsibility domestically, similar extreme statements will continue to appear as the Russia-Ukraine conflict prolongs.

At that point, it won't just be a joke anymore, but rather a complete loss of support.
