China-Kazakhstan Cooperation: Third Batch of Kazakh Water Resources Experts Travel to China for Study

Kazakh International News Agency, According to the Kazakh Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, the third batch of Kazakh water resources experts has set off for China to conduct a two-week training session.

The news said that so far, two batches of 30 Kazakh experts have received training in China. This year, a total of 121 Kazakh water industry experts will travel to China to improve their skills.

Currently, the Kazakh Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation is negotiating with Chinese counterparts on continuing the joint training program.

"In April and May this year, we sent two batches of 30 trainees to China and successfully completed the training. The third batch of 31 water resources experts has set off for China to study courses on water resource management and wastewater treatment. These trainings are aimed at implementing the instructions of President Tokayev mentioned in his State of the Nation Address regarding improving the professional skills of experts in the water sector," said Aslan Abdraymov, Deputy Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.

Previously reported, the first batch of Kazakh water resources experts traveled to China for training this year.
