South Korean media: BYD's "ATTO 3" has cumulatively shipped 1,000 vehicles in South Korea!

On June 15, South Korean media "Today Finance" reported that BYD Korea announced that the delivery ceremony for the 1,000th unit of the small electric SUV "ATTO 3" was recently held at the Shihwa showroom of BYD Auto in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

The 1,000th customer said at the delivery ceremony: "I have been waiting for BYD, a global leader in the environmental automotive market, to enter the South Korean market. After actually test driving it at the showroom recently, I saw the best cost-performance ratio among similar products and decided to purchase the BYD ATTO 3."

BYD ATTO 3 is a compact electric SUV independently developed by China's BYD. It is a representative model with global sales exceeding 1 million units. The vehicle is equipped with the e-platform 3.0 dedicated to pure electric vehicles and BYD's independently developed Blade Battery technology, featuring excellent driving performance, safety, and interior space utilization.

In April, during the first month of ATTO 3's shipment to South Korea, 543 units were sold within 17 days, drawing significant attention.

Cho In-cheol, head of BYD Korea's passenger car business, said: "Among the customers who purchased ATTO 3 in April, about 20% were in their 20s and 30s, about 30% were in their 40s, about 32% were in their 50s, and about 18% were over 60 years old. We confirmed that not only the younger generation but also consumers of all age groups show strong interest in this car. BYD Korea will continue to introduce new models with high market competitiveness to meet the needs of a wide range of customers and make every effort to promote the growth of South Korea's electric vehicle market by providing the best service environment."

BYD Korea plans to increase the number of official passenger car service centers from the current 12 to more than 25 and expand the number of showrooms from 15 to more than 30 by the end of this year.
