U.S. Military Command: Disabled the oil tanker "Settebello" in the Oman Sea

The U.S. Central Command stated that U.S. forces hit the engine, disabling the oil tanker "Settebello," which was sailing under the flag of Palau in the Oman Sea.

In a statement, the U.S. Central Command said: "Forces under U.S. Central Command disabled the oil tanker 'Settebello,' flying the flag of Palau, as it passed through the Oman Sea. After repeated violations of U.S. military directives by the crew, U.S. aircraft launched precision-guided munitions into the ship's engine room."

The U.S. Central Command noted that since imposing a maritime blockade on Iranian ports, the United States has disabled eight vessels and forced 134 ships to turn back.
