Trump previously expressed disappointment with Musk and further stated that he had done a lot for Musk.

Musk posted on X Social Media: "Without me, Trump wouldn't have won the election. Such ingratitude."

On June 3, Musk referred to Trump's bill cutting federal spending as a "despicable act." Musk also pointed out that according to this bill, the U.S. budget deficit will increase to $2.5 trillion, leaving American citizens with unpayable debt.
