On August 17, the Ukrainian source "AMK_Mapping" reported that both Russian and Ukrainian forces made advances in the Drobyslav-Yelizovo direction (by the way, the Ukrainian counteroffensive began about four days ago).

① The Ukrainian forces first regained control of the village of Hruzyk and the ravine area extending to the south, then advanced from multiple directions to the village of Veselye, regaining the village and its surrounding areas.

② After facing setbacks in the attack, the Ukrainian forces launched another attack on the village of Zolotoy Kolyadz from the western forest area, entering the center of the village. After about 24 hours of fierce fighting, the Russian forces were forced to retreat southward due to losing the villages of Veselye and Hruzyk, as well as the numerical superiority of the Ukrainian forces in the village. Subsequently, the Ukrainian forces continued their advance southward, reaching the northern outskirts of the village of Kucheryiv Yar.

③ After several days of positional warfare, the Ukrainian forces advanced eastward from the village of Rubizhne, reclaiming the remaining parts of the village. The Russian forces, due to losing the village of Zolotoy Kolyadz, were forced to retreat. Subsequently, the Ukrainian forces advanced further, occupying the tree line positions on the tactical high ground near the village and the ravine area leading to the southern part of the village of Zolotoy Kolyadz.

④ The Ukrainian forces advanced outward from the village of Step, establishing a buffer zone on the tree line of the tactical high ground, while other units advanced along the high ground toward the village of Vyrnye and reclaimed it.

⑤ The Ukrainian forces advanced eastward from the village of Novo-Donetsk, entering the village of Novoshakhyve. They also reclaimed the villages of Ivanivka and Dorozhne, which enabled them to re-enter the village of Nikanorivka.

⑥ About a week ago, the Russian forces advanced eastward through two parallel gorges, capturing positions in the western artificial forest area of the village of Shakhyve.

+ The Ukrainian side has newly controlled an area of approximately 60.60 square kilometers.

+ The Russian side has newly controlled an area of approximately 6.78 square kilometers.
