Trump: The US is mass-producing hypersonic missiles

US President Donald Trump said that the United States is mass-producing hypersonic missiles.

Trump spoke at a celebration held by West Point Academy:

"We have developed them. Now we are mass-producing them."

Trump also pointed out that it was reported that the drawings of US missiles were stolen during the Obama administration.

He said, "You know, ours were stolen. We are the developers of hypersonic missiles. But they were stolen during the Obama era. Do you know who stole them? Russia did. Something bad happened."

Trump previously stated that Russia was suspected of stealing the drawings of the "super missile" from the United States. Russian presidential spokesman Peskov responded that Russia has its own excellent missiles that are unparalleled in the world and not just one type.

The US lags behind Russia and China in the development of hypersonic weapons. Hypersonic weapons are already in service with the Russian army and have been used in combat before.

He emphasized that the US military will no longer use force to export democracy.

Trump said, "The job of the US military is not to put on 'gender-bending shows' to change the culture of other countries or to use force to export democracy. The mission of the military is to take the lead and destroy threats to the United States."

He also said that after returning to the White House, the US military would once again be respected around the world.
