UB P. - On June 20, according to the Presidential Press Office, in response to an invitation from President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh of Mongolia, Emperor Naruhito of Japan and Empress Masako will pay a state visit to Mongolia from July 6 to 13, 2025.
During the visit, President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh of Mongolia will hold official talks with Emperor Naruhito of Japan to discuss deepening friendly relations and friendship between the two countries. Additionally, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan will attend the opening ceremony of the National Naadam Festival and other activities as honored guests.
This state visit will make important contributions to deepening the "special strategic partnership oriented toward peace and prosperity" between Mongolia and Japan, which share common democratic values, and strengthening people-centered cooperation. This visit will be the first state visit to Mongolia by Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan.
