The first informal summit of the Turkic Council will be held in observer country Hungary.

The informal summit of the Turkic Council is scheduled to take place on May 20-21 this year in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. This summit was invited and initiated by Viktor Orbán, the Prime Minister of Hungary.

The presidents of the member states of the Turkic Council - Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan - will attend the summit. In addition, representatives of observer countries of the Turkic Council and the Secretary General of the organization will also be present.

This is the first time that an informal summit of the Turkic Council has been held in the territory of an observer country.

Themed "East, West, and the Crossroads," the summit will provide a platform for leaders of various countries to discuss cooperation and development issues in priority areas and exchange views on regional and global hot-button issues.

The summit is expected to adopt the "Budapest Declaration" to confirm the common future and strategic direction of the Turkic Council, while also approving a series of important decisions and initiatives.

Before the informal summit in Budapest, the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Turkic Council will hold a meeting to review the agenda of the summit and improve the documents to be signed by the heads of state.
