Last night, a gun robbery occurred in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
According to Japanese media "Asahi Television", on March 14, two robbers armed with guns entered a mobile phone store in Shinjuku, Tokyo, threatened a Vietnamese store manager, tied the manager with a data cable, and fled after stealing about 1.7 million yen (approximately 74,000 Chinese yuan) in cash.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, at 10 p.m. on the 14th, two men pretended to be customers and entered a mobile phone store on the third floor of a building in Hachiman-cho, Shinjuku.
The two men beat a 40-year-old Vietnamese male store manager, who was alone in the store at that time. The robbers threatened him with a handgun, saying, "Don't move."
Afterward, the robbers tied up the store manager with a USB cable and stole about 1.7 million yen in cash and dozens of mobile phones.
The two robbers are in their late 20s to early 30s and are Japanese.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the case as a robbery and assault.
