Overseas media: Hainan Province, the southernmost province of China, has launched a pilot program allowing employees of enterprises registered and operating in Hainan to access the global Internet through the "Global Connection" mobile service, with the aim of promoting Hainan as a global free trade port.

Applicants need to use 5G packages from China Mobile, China Unicom, or China Telecom and submit information such as the enterprise's unified social credit code. The application will be reviewed by the Hainan International Data Comprehensive Service Center (HIDCSC), and the review process can take up to five months.

Once approved, users can access the global Internet for free. There are currently no restrictions on the scale or scope of the enterprise, and this service has attracted significant commercial interest. HIDCSC is supervised by the state-owned Hainan Big Data Development Center.
