Russian experts have highly evaluated the cooperation between Russian and Chinese nuclear physicists!
The Minister of Education visited the Chinese Superconducting Tokamak located in Hefei.
August 25, TASS report.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Valery Falkov, highly evaluated the results of the cooperation between Russian and Chinese fusion physicists - the work of the Chinese Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST).
Russian联媒体 reported: "The Institute of Plasma Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a leading scientific center in the field of nuclear fusion research, is located in Hefei."
"Valery Falkov congratulated the institute on its achievements in the field of nuclear fusion research and emphasized the importance of developing bilateral partnership," the message said.
The news mentioned that Russia and China have a long history of cooperation. In 1992, Russia transferred the "Tokamak T-7" device to Chinese colleagues free of charge.
Dozens of Russian engineers participated in its reconstruction work.
Through this work, China became the fourth country in the world, after Russia, France, and Japan, to build a superconducting tokamak controlled nuclear fusion device.
Today, the Institute of Plasma Physics maintains close cooperation with a number of universities and research institutions in Russia.
These include: Moscow Engineering College, "Moscow State Institute of Physics and Technology", the Institute of Applied Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Moscow State University, among others.
Falkov congratulated the institute on its achievements in nuclear fusion research and pointed out the importance of developing partnerships for the well-being of both countries.
